POP Connect was created by Katherine, who has been running businesses for over 35 years. She knows exactly what it’s like to build something from the ground up, the challenges, the risks, the wins and the late nights.

When she was networking for a magazine business she owned, she noticed something was missing. Many groups were either too formal and intimidating… or too loose and lacking structure. There wasn’t much in between.

So she created it.

She built networking groups that are friendly, fun and relaxed, but still structured enough to help you make meaningful connections, grow your confidence and win real business. A space where you feel safe, supported and genuinely part of something.

  • When you join POP Connect, you’re not just turning up to a meeting once a month.

    You’re stepping into a supportive business community.

    There’s:

    • A busy and engaged Facebook group

    • A WhatsApp group for each individual group

    • A dedicated WhatsApp for subbing opportunities

    • Another for referrals across all 35 groups

    That means you always have somewhere to ask a question, seek advice, share a win, or ask for support from people who truly understand what running a business feels like.

  • Meetings are structured, but never stuffy.

    You’ll start with a quick introductory round so everyone knows who’s in the room.

    Then:

    • A 10-minute presentation from one member

    • 70 seconds for every attendee (including guests) to promote their business

    • A second 10-minute presentation

    • A focused round on connections, recommendations and referrals

    Every member gets the opportunity to deliver a 10-minute presentation annually, giving you proper space to showcase what you do.

    And at the end?

    There’s either a buffet or sit-down lunch where you can relax, chat and build those deeper relationships that turn into trusted referrals.
